Established in April of 2013, Animation Dance Community is the continuation of JJs Dance Studio of Hollister.  Under the direction of Sammy Ramirez, dancers are enouraged to enjoy and feel music through movement, specifically, through all styles of hip-hop.  Sammy and his team teach musicality and practice in locking, breakdancing, popping, and animation.  They use choreography, freestyle, and tumbling to give an all-around training experience.  

Moreover, dancers are made to feel a part of a community.  Whether they dance one hour a week or 16 hours a week, they are welcome to hang out, perform, and interact equally.  Mutual respect, compassion, and responsibilty are tantamount.  When dancers face personal challenges, the community seeks to find solutions.

We believe you will find us to be more than an activity for a young dancer.  Our goal is to help sustain a positive structure that supports kids, their parents, and their community.  We are dance instructors, academic tutors, character builders, "village" support, and above all else...
